I had gone so far thinking of what sort of natural phenomena I am going to tackle as a featured article in my journal. I finally realize what is the appropriate piece-there..right before my eyes. I observe that temperature rises, its not only because its summer but environemental warming cause by the global phenomenon we know..global warming. Yes, global warming..even here in my town(Lucban, Quezon) which is raining all the time of the year..Its true.Since we are near at the foot of Mt. Banahaw and the climate type here is Type iv.thats why we are experiencing lots of rain troughout the year. But due to this global warming, temperature here is rising even if it is raining. We get perspire even when we stay at home doing nothing but watching T.V. Then I have read an article in our school publication about this phenomenon. And as a forestry student i am concern about this issue and how it will affect our environment.

Every Now and then, news weer scaterred abot global warming and how it afects us every now and then. Peole living both in Mountains and lowlands are both affected once this phenomenon has reached its peak. Living species would no longer have their habitat. People would suffer different illnesses such as skin cancer and brain damage taht could lead to death.

Years ago, there was this scandal or whatever you may call it,about the hole of the ozone layer which was increasing and even reached the size of Antartica. Imagine how big it was.

Environmentalist and other groups concerned with this natural phenomena tried to lessen or if not at least tried to prevent it from getting worst, by doing some disciplinary actions. They asked every nation to participate in the worlwide call for mother nature. This call includes the avoidance of the usage of plastic materials and other polyesters, which add up to the hole in the ozone. the burning of rubbers and tires showed were also banned.

Those materials not only pollute the environment, they also harm the respiratory system of humans and other living organism in the planet.

From 1997 up to now, the ozone is as big as before. the hole is still gigantic. Experts. are trying their best and giving much effort in doing the research on how to replenish the ozone layers. Truly, our globe is warming and we need to prevent this total zone depletion
